About Us

Owner:

Gillvane has owned and operated this website since 2005. Gillvane started this site as an open discussion about Realm Crafter, since at the the time there were no public forums to specifically discuss the Realm Crafter engine. Since then, the site has evolved into a place to share information with indie developers about making MMORPGs using all the latest MMORPG engines available, model making for MMORPGs, and much more.

Gillvane enjoys discussions about MMORPG game mechanics and design concepts, and supporting indie developers interested in making an MMORPG, regardless of experience level.

If you need to email Gillvane with documents, files, or other inquiries, please request his email address in a private message on this website. Gillvane has no intention of selling this site, or the MMORPGMaker.com domain at this time.

Site Administrator:

Taylor Petrick, the current site administrator of this website, goes by TaylorP on the forum. He joined the site in 2007 to post about game development and design, and was soon invited into the administration team.

Taylor is familiar with CSS, HTML, PHP, C++, C#, Visual Basic, Java, Flash/Action Script, Torque Script, and Python. He has been using Torque for three years, and is currently developing an MMORPG with Torque Game Engine Advanced.

For site related issues, you can contact Taylor on the forum via PM, or by emailing him at the email on his forum profile.

Previously a journalist and site manager for the IGN Vault Network, he has recently moved on to the dev team for the massively multiplayer space-themed MMO, EVE Online.

Feel free to IM John on the forums regarding interviews, articles, and coverage of your project; his forum username is LynxJSA.
